These Terms and Conditions apply to orders placed with NomadUK Limited, trading as NomadUK Designs (“NomadUK”, “we”, “us” or “our”) through https://www.nomaduk.com.
Please read them carefully before placing an order. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. About us

2. Our products
We sell personalised and made-to-order products, including mugs, clothing, bags and home gifts.
Products are printed using a method appropriate to the item. This may include sublimation, direct-to-film printing or another suitable production process.
Product descriptions provide relevant details about the product, material, size, printing method and personalisation options. Please read the description carefully before ordering.
Product photographs and mock-ups are intended to provide a reasonable representation of the finished product. Colours, positioning, scale and appearance may vary slightly because of:
- screen and device settings;
- differences between RGB screen colours and printed colours;
- the printing process used;
- the shape, texture or construction of the product;
- normal manufacturing tolerances;
- manual positioning during production.
These reasonable variations are not normally considered faults.
3. Your design and personalisation
You are responsible for checking all information and content supplied with your order, including:
- spelling;
- names;
- dates;
- sizes;
- quantities;
- colours;
- images;
- product choices;
- design positioning;
- delivery information.
We will normally produce the item using the design and information submitted or approved by you.
We are not responsible for an error that appeared in the design or information you supplied or approved, unless we changed the approved design or failed to follow your instructions.
4. Proofs and mock-ups
A digital proof or mock-up may be provided where agreed or requested.
A proof is intended to show the general design, wording and positioning. It may not reproduce the exact colour, scale, resolution, print texture or appearance of the finished product.
You must check a proof carefully before approving it. Once you approve a proof, you accept the spelling, content and general layout shown.
Production may begin after approval. Changes may not be possible once production has started.
If we identify an obvious concern with a design, we may contact you before printing. However, we are not responsible for identifying every spelling, design, resolution or content issue.
5. Uploaded images and artwork
You must have all necessary rights, permissions and licences to use any photograph, image, logo, trademark, wording, artwork or other material you upload, submit or ask us to print.
You must not submit content that:
- infringes another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- is unlawful, threatening, hateful or seriously offensive;
- promotes illegal activity;
- contains sexual imagery involving a child;
- is fraudulent or misleading;
- we reasonably consider unsuitable for production.
You remain responsible for content you provide and for any claim resulting from our authorised use of that content to fulfil your order.
You grant us a limited permission to store, reproduce, resize, adjust and print the submitted content solely as reasonably necessary to process your order, provide customer support, produce a replacement or resolve a dispute.
We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably believe the content is unlawful, infringing or unsuitable. Where appropriate, we will refund any amount paid for work that has not been completed, subject to any lawful deduction for costs already reasonably incurred.
6. Image quality
The quality of the finished print depends partly on the quality and resolution of the image supplied.
Low-resolution, blurred, compressed, dark or damaged images may produce a lower-quality result. Enlarging a small image may also reveal pixelation or loss of detail.
Where we provide image enhancement or editing assistance, this does not guarantee that every defect can be removed or that missing detail can be recreated accurately.
We may warn you about an apparent quality concern, but responsibility for approving and submitting the image remains with you.
7. Placing an order
When you submit an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products shown in your basket.
An automated order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
A contract is formed when we accept and begin processing the order or send confirmation that the order has been accepted.
We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance where, for example:
- the product is unavailable;
- payment has not been authorised;
- the product or price contains an obvious error;
- we cannot fulfil the requested design;
- the uploaded content breaches these terms;
- delivery to the supplied address is unavailable;
- we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.
If we cancel an order after payment but before producing the goods, we will refund the amount paid unless a lawful deduction applies.
8. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling unless otherwise stated.
The price payable is the price shown at checkout when the order is submitted, together with any delivery charge or other clearly disclosed cost.
If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may contact you before accepting the order. You may either continue at the correct price or cancel the order for a refund.
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe, PayPal or another gateway available at checkout. We do not store full payment-card details on our website.
An order may be delayed or cancelled if payment is declined, reversed or subject to a fraud review.
9. Changes and cancellations
Most of our products are personalised or made to the customer’s specification.
The usual statutory right to cancel an online purchase because you have changed your mind does not generally apply to goods that are made to your specifications or are clearly personalised.
You may ask us to change or cancel an order before production begins. We will try to help, but we cannot guarantee that a change or cancellation will be possible.
Once artwork preparation, printing or production has started, we may refuse a cancellation or retain a reasonable amount reflecting work completed, materials used and costs already incurred, where permitted by law.
This does not affect your rights where a product is faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
Any standard, non-personalised goods sold by us may have separate statutory cancellation rights. These will be explained where applicable.
10. Production and dispatch
All personalised products are made to order.
Our normal dispatch target is three to five working days, unless a different processing time is displayed on the product page or agreed with you.
Processing time begins after:
- payment has been received;
- all required personalisation details have been provided; and
- any requested proof has been approved.
Working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in England.
Dispatch targets are estimates rather than guarantees. Production may take longer during busy periods or where an order requires additional design work, clarification or approval.
11. Delivery
Available delivery services, prices and estimated times are shown at checkout.
Delivery estimates begin when the order is dispatched and are separate from our production time.
Unless we explicitly agree otherwise in writing, estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed. Postal or courier delays outside our reasonable control may occur.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not responsible for delay, loss or additional expense caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by you.
Please see our Delivery Information page for further details.
12. Ownership and responsibility for goods
The goods remain our property until we have received full payment.
Responsibility for the goods normally passes to you when they are delivered to you, or to a person identified by you to receive them.
Where you independently arrange for a carrier that we did not offer, responsibility may pass when the goods are handed to that carrier, as permitted by law.
13. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Goods must be:
- of satisfactory quality;
- fit for any purpose made known to us and accepted by us;
- as described;
- consistent with any approved design, subject to reasonable production variation.
Please contact contact@nomaduk.com promptly if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or significantly not as described.
We may request:
- your order number;
- photographs of the item;
- photographs of the packaging;
- further information about the problem;
- return of the item, where reasonable.
Your remedies may include a refund, repair, replacement, price reduction or another remedy required by consumer law.
Please see our Refund and Returns Policy for more information.
14. Minor blemishes and reasonable variation
Printing and manufacturing processes may produce minor variations or blemishes that do not materially affect the appearance, use or durability of the product.
Examples may include:
- slight differences in print positioning;
- minor variation in colour;
- very small marks outside the main design area;
- differences in garment or product dimensions within the manufacturer’s tolerance;
- slight changes caused by seams, edges, curves or textured surfaces.
We will assess reported issues reasonably and in accordance with your statutory rights. A minor cosmetic variation that would not cause a reasonable person to regard the product as unsatisfactory may not qualify as a fault.
15. Care instructions
You should follow any care instructions supplied with the product or included in its description.
Damage caused by misuse, unsuitable washing, excessive heat, harsh chemicals, abrasion, alteration or failure to follow care instructions is not a manufacturing fault.
This does not affect your rights where the product was faulty when supplied.
16. Website availability
We try to keep our website, design tool and checkout available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
We may temporarily suspend or change parts of the website for maintenance, security, updates or operational reasons.
17. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- breach of your statutory consumer rights;
- any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, arose from inaccurate information or content supplied by you, or resulted from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We supply consumer products for private use. We are not responsible for business losses such as loss of profit, revenue, opportunity or goodwill where you purchase as a consumer.
Different terms may apply where goods are purchased wholly or mainly for business purposes.
18. Events outside our reasonable control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including postal disruption, courier disruption, severe weather, fire, flood, power failure, internet outage, equipment failure, supply-chain interruption, industrial action or government restrictions.
We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect of the event and complete the order when reasonably possible.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
19. Personal information
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
20. Complaints
Please email contact@nomaduk.com with your order number and details of your concern.
We aim to deal with complaints fairly and as promptly as reasonably possible.
21. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time.
The version that applied when your order was accepted will normally govern that order. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that you already have.
22. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you live in another part of the United Kingdom, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in your local courts.
If any provision is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
